After compiling all this research on the seven deadly sins and the creative uses of paper, I have brainstormed my ideas on concepts I could use to portray each of the seven deadly sins. Here are my ideas so far:
Lust:
Model lying in an unmade bed/ smudged lipstick/ messed up hair/ wearing sexy lingerie/ focus on sexual part of the body/overhead shot/ pink or red aura/ bedsheets made from newspaper/ red satin sheetes/ grabbing onto bedsheets.
Pride:
Model looking in mirror/ broken mirrors/ vanity/ peacock feathers/ big headedness/ paper headdress/
feathers/ diamonds/ close up shot/ showing off/ looking smug.
Greed:
Model lying down covered in paper money/ wearing dress made out of paper money or one big note/ money falling from the sky/ excess/ diamonds/ glitter/ sequins/ dripping in diamonds/ jewellery made from paper/ hungry expression.
Wrath:
Model tearing up paper/ angry expression/ hard, edgy look/ big, pointy shoulders/ destruction of paper surrounding model/ massive pair of scissors/ burning paper/ flames in foreground/ paper flying everywhere.
Gluttony:
Model lying or sitting down surrounded by food/ Marie Antoinette style/ mixture of real and paper food/ gorging on food/ food smeared on face/ sticky fingers/ oversized paper mache food/ table covered with piles of food.
Sloth:
Model sat on floor/ doll like pose/ head in hands/ yawning/ dazed expression/ scrunched up paper surrounding her/ create a dream like world/ feathers in hair/ feathers falling around her/ bubbles floating in the air/ bin overflowing with paper/ bored, tired expression.
Envy:
Model kneeling down on floor/ surrounded by open magazines of beautiful models/ jealous, envious expression/ using marker pen to deface models in magazines/ sticking needles in their eyes/ newspaper vodoo doll.
